     Born In Detroit, MI. Mixo is part of a third generation involved in the entertainment industry. Mix's grandfather (Larry Wright Sr.) was one of the lead vocalists in the Doo **** Group "The Volumes" who gained national exposer with their hit song "I Love You". Mix's father (Larry Wright Jr.) is a songwriter & music producer, who has worked with local & national talent, from his home base studio, & also in many other local studios. Mixo started his musical career at age 12 in the hip-hop group "Public New Sense" with his two younger brothers & a friend; they won many local talent shows & performed at many showcase functions. All grown up now, Mixo has been sharpening his skills as a hip-hop artist. He has been performing with the hip-hop group "Rhyme Asylum" at showcase events all around the Metro Detroit area, always to rave reviews. Mixo is currently working on a selection of hip-hop tracks that will define him as a hip-hop artist. His goal is when anyone thinks of Detroit Hip-Hop, his name will be among the top names mentioned.
