Biography

Big Sean has been destined for success ever since he was born in Los Angeles, California, as the younger of two boys. As an infant Seans family moved to Detroit where he was raised by his mother, Myra Anderson. Sean attended The Detroit Waldorf School (a school tailored for the arts) where he gained a strong passion for poety, later began writing his own music. He then attended Cass technical High School where he continued developing his musical skills.

Sean has also been interviewed and mentioned on Fox 2 News, UPN News, and Detroit 62 News, for his outstanding lyrics. He has performed for the NAACPs National Abstinence Picnic in Detroit, and at a number of other venues where he has been warmly accepted. lately Big Sean has been traveling in the shadows of the 6 time Grammy Award winning Kanye West and has been spotted in numerous locations with him and other notable artists.

Recently, Big Sean was signed by Kanye Wests G.O.O.D. (Getting Out Our Dreams) Music Lable, G.O.O.D. Music also includes John Legend, Common, and other well known artists.
