Yo, I'm new to this site so let me introduce myself. My name is Alberto (thebrmg@gmail.com), I co-own BRMG (Blue Room Music Group), we are based out of South Austin. We do events throughout the year in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, New York, Boston...and so on. Were doing a few un-offical events durring SXSW, anyone reading this post is more than welcome to come by and kick it w/ us in Austin at anyone of these events. We also have an opportunity for anyone out there to not jus attend one of our events, but to be apart of it (Read 2008 Urban Media Meet-N-Greet Below). Here is err thing we got going on for SXSW 08: 2nd Annual Urban Media Meet-N-Greet Logans on 6th Street 03.13.08 4p-8p BRMG Presents: Dj Jayceeoh Firehouse Lounge Brazos (between 6th & 7th) 03.14.08 10p-2a BRMG Presents: HipHop Radio II Firehouse Lounge Brazos (between 6th & 7th) 03.15.08 3p-8p Line up TBA 2008 Urban Media Meet-N-Greet Last Year BRMG held the 1st Urban Media Meet-&-Greet. This event was the only one of its kind that focused strictly on Urban Music and our interest. This year, we are excited to announce the partnership Spectre ENT Group, Vintage Music, Foundation Media & KMP to assist with the event. This group was responsible for last years CMJ Meet-N-Greet, held at Blvd in NYC which had guest Djs Dj Premier, Dj Rhetmattic, J-Live and Peter Rosenberg. Thousands flock to Austin in March for South by South West (SXSW) and in the past 6 years urban music has made a strong push from single day, one to two stages, to events taking place each day of SXSW with multiple stages to choose from. SXSW is in it 21st year and has grown to be the biggest Music and Media festival in the US. Our event is designed to be the one of the best parties of the conference, as well as the main event where artist and Djs can connect with labels and promoters to expand their network nationally and internationally. Everyone at the party is personally invited by BRMG, Vintage Music, SPECTRE, Foundation Media and KMP. The crowd consists of nothing but the best DJs, hottest artists, and most influential tastemakers in the country. We provide well-known DJs to service as the event's entertainment and provide those in attendance with gift bags with material from our sponsors.
